Folks this one is all about coarse stones and why I think that they are so important. A lot of novice sharpeners seem reluctant to use them but they shouldn't be. There is no danger unless the individual is careless and lacks common sense.

Another great video Peter. When I first started sharpening 15 mo ago, I used the 400#. As you say it is all in the pressure. The burr forms much easier with the 400 stone. When you go to the 1000# stone, it is so much smoother. Anyway, keep the video's coming.
